Roundhay Dementia Support Group

Our groups meet weekly for two hours, offering a warm, supportive space for people living with dementia and their caregivers. There’s no time limit - attend for as long as you like.

Sessions cost £1 to cover tea, coffee, and biscuits. Caregivers are welcome to stay or pop out if they prefer. Due to limited space, we ask you to book your first session—after that, you’re on the list each week unless you let us know otherwise.

Each week includes fun, memory-friendly activities like crafts, quizzes, gentle exercise, mocktail making, and more. We finish every session with a singalong and bingo, with small prizes up for grabs. Our goal is to help people connect, enjoy themselves, and feel supported.

Leeds weather this week - it’s a hot one! 🌡

Temperatures will be climbing to 28/29°C, with mostly sunny skies and very low chances of rain.

Due to the extreme heat, the tutor has cancelled the Chair-based Exercise class tomorrow, 12th August. Please take care, stay cool, and drink plenty of water! 🧊
